The challenge?

Conventional rotary turbines pose ergonomic nightmares in these environments and miss peak gust wind periods. Making them commercially unviable.

Turbulent in nature, ground-level winds can deliver immense power in smaller pockets of energy. Characterised by gust winds, ground-level winds can instantaneously increase in speed over a short period of time (10-90 seconds).

Over the last 3 years, our team has been measuring wind speeds and directions at ground level (at heights between 1-10m above the ground) with data captures set at 1 second intervals to understand the true power of ground-level winds. The results demonstrated energy outputs of up to 4x the amount reported by MET Data. Revealing an immense untapped wind energy resource for electrical production.

Multi-ducted system stabilises wind energy inflows while accelerating internal wind speeds by up to 50%. Independently oscillating aerofoils react in under 1 second to capture turbulent gust winds when they appear.

Hydraulic powertrain

A novel solution that transforms variable energy inputs into smooth, grid-compliant electrical outputs. Overcomes intermittency challenge through intermediate storage to align with end-user energy demand.
