We’re on BBC Click!

In November 2023, we invited the BBC to visit the most recent wind tunnel testing of our Alpah rig Wind Panel. Utilising the University of Strathclyde’s wind tunnel our team showcased the development of our world-first oscillating wind and aerofoil technology for urban and ground-level winds. The ducted Alpha rig hosted two individually operating aerofoils which over-delivered on anticipated results set by industry-leading experts at lower wind speeds.

The BBC also checked in with our academic wind experts Dr. Wolf from Heriot-Watt University and Mr. Cameron Johnstone, Reader from the University of Strathclyde to give their expert opinions on our Wind Panel technology. They discussed the potential global opportunities for our technology and how it overcomes turbulent and gusting winds at ground-level.

You can check out our exciting coverage featuring Edinburgh Airport, the University of Strathclyde, and our wind mapping expert Dr. Wolf here.
